In this video I’ll unbox and review two new EF-S lenses by Canon, the 10-18mm f4.3 and the 18-200mm f3.5. I discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the EF-S format and also what to expect out of a mid-range lens. I do some studio tests with the lenses and then I take them out to the soccer pitch and compare them to my 70-200mm f2.8L and my 17-55mm f2.8 workhorse. The two lenses together make for a fabulous pair that cover 90% of shooting scenarios. I believe the disadvantages of a slower lens and lightweight construction are not significant enough for me to not recommend this little power pair.
